Edwards E-LP-135ALS/RE – top regular-production model, full nitro, 2009, Lemon Burst – ultralight 3.5 kg
I’m offering an Edwards E-LP-135ALS/RE, the highest model from Edwards’ regular production line – directly inspired by late-50s Les Paul Standards.
This instrument was built in Japan and finished in full nitrocellulose lacquer (body, top, neck, headstock), featuring a beautiful flamed maple top in classic Lemon Burst.
The 135ALS/RE sat at the very top of the Edwards Les Paul Standard range – above it were only limited ESP runs or Custom Shop-level instruments.
The RE (Relic / All Lacquer) series uses 100% nitro lacquer, which ages naturally and develops an authentic, subtle vintage patina.
This particular guitar was made in 2009, confirmed by the serial number and catalog-correct specifications.
Important: this example is ultra-lightweight, about 3.5 kg, which is extremely rare for this model and significantly improves comfort and resonance.
Seymour Duncan Antiquity pickups – true late-50s PAF character
The guitar features a full set of Seymour Duncan Antiquity – among the most respected PAF-style humbuckers ever made.
These are not regular Duncans. Antiquities are:
